Yard Sale-ing!

Today was the city-wide yard sale.  Even though most people shudder at the thought of coming across 30-year-old nick nacks, yard sales can be an opportunity for cheap clothes!!!  You just need to know the right places to go.  If you see a teenage girl wearing cute clothes sitting near the money, that's a huge hint she might have the perfect items for you.  If you see primary colors and baby toys, not so much.  The thing is, yard sales are a big "treasure hunt."  And even though most of the time everything won't be in your size, there will be a place for you!!! Just keep on looking!

So, wanna know what I got for "new" clothes?   Here it goes... a/an:
-Delia's dark purple, striped, dolman cardigan.  I can't wait to pair it with short shorts and a white pocket tank!
-Hollister teal graphic tee. It's a size Large, but I can grow!
-L.e.i babydoll tank with a crocheted back in the color cream.  Perfect for summer!
-American Eagle gray hoodie. I'll bundle up on the windy days.
-Hollister hot pink hoodie.  I'll still be bundling up... I guess.
-A.n.a kelly green cardigan.  For color blocking, duh.
-Maurice's striped button-up cardi.  Talk about preppy cute!
-Old Navy burnt-orange knit sweater.  Loving the color.
-Cherry-red scarf which you CAN rock in the summer!
-A million jewelry junk.  Well, not junk.  I kinda love it to pieces.

The best purchase out of everything, though?  A red velvet cake pop.  I could have a million of those little sweets.  It was the best cake pop I ever had.

So go out, and yard sale!!!  (Tip, it's a good idea to yard sale out of your hometown, so no one else you know realizes you only got that bracelet for 50 cents.  The yard sale today was for my "sister city", although no one calls it that.)
Hugs and Hearts,
Em <3<3
